About Every Crossing
Every Crossing is an iPhone app, with a web version to follow, that counts the days you spend in each country. It helps you see how close you are to the day limits that matter to you, such as tax residency thresholds and visa allowances. It is launching soon, and you can join the waitlist on the home page.
What it does
- On iPhone, it notices when your phone moves between countries and asks you to confirm each change before it is counted. The web version is for adding and editing trips by hand.
- It counts your days against limits you set for each country. It holds day-counting rules for 237 countries and territories, because whether the day you arrive or the day you leave counts is decided country by country.
- It puts the countries closest to their limit first, and sends a notification when you are getting near one.
- It keeps working with no signal, and lets you export your records as a PDF or a spreadsheet.
What it is not
Every Crossing is a record-keeping tool. It is not tax, legal or immigration advice, and it does not decide where you are resident or whether you may stay somewhere. Please check anything important with the official rules or a qualified adviser.
Your privacy
Your iPhone works out which country you are in. We receive only the country, the dates and the time zone, never your exact coordinates. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising. You can delete your account at any time. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
